EuroCloud Awards 2018-2019 Competition starts in November 2018.

The EuroCloud Awards competition recognizes the European and world-wide digital services based on Cloud Computing underlying technology. Openness is a dominant feature of the EuroCloud Awards accepting:

  • applications from around the world without any geographical restraint;
  • all kinds of business services: consulting, data center, cloud brokerage, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, ...; 
  • all kinds of emerging technologies:IoT, AI, VR, BlockChain, 3D Printing, Drones …;

EuroCloud Awards is a two stage competition process and is open to any cloud computing based service which could be checked against the StarAudit Quality Scheme: https://staraudit.org/assessment

Costs

EuroCloud Awards’ 1st Stage Entry requires service quality check using StarAudit Assessment Quality Scheme https://staraudit.org . Entry cost of the 1st Stage of EuroCloud Awards is 75 + VAT per service. Checked and verified quality services could be nominated into the 2nd Stage of the EuroCloud Awards competition at a cost of 500 + VAT, each service in its unique category.

Rules of Entry

  1. EuroCloud Awards competition recognizes the European and world-wide digital services based on Cloud Computing underlying technology. Openness is a dominant feature of the EuroCloud Awards accepting: applications from around the world without any geographical restraint; all kinds of business services: consulting, data center, cloud brokerage, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; all kinds of emerging technologies: IoT, AI, VR, BlockChain, 3D Printing, Drones;
  2. EuroCloud Awards is a two stage competition process and is open to any cloud computing based service which could be checked against the StarAudit Quality Scheme: https://staraudit.org/assessment/ .
  3. EuroCloud Awards timeline is published and is available on the EuroCloud Awards website before the beginning of the two years overlapping EuroCloud Awards process cycle. This exactly means the end of the EuroCloud Awards 2nd Stage of the current competition in the first half of the year and then the beginning of the 1st Stage of the next new EuroCloud Awards competition cycle in the second half of the current year.
  4. Cloud Computing based service could be nominated into the 2nd Stage of the EuroCloud Awards competition if it could meet StarAudit Assessment Three Star Quality Level, verified by selected and accredited NUBO Community Professionals https://staraudit.org/nubo/ and the StarAudit Accredited Auditor as a supervisor https://staraudit.org/valid/ . StarAudit ThreeStar Awards Assessment is treated and is valued as a StarAudit Selfassessment https://staraudit.org/staraudit-self-assessment/ .
  5. EuroCloud Awards application process starts by the €75 Awards 1st Stage ticket purchase on the Webshop for StarAudit Tools https://staraudit.org/home/webshop/
  6. In this stage of the competition, nominee propose a unique qualitative category of the nominated service and briefly explain it in the exposed fields of the nomination web form. The organizer reserves the right to the final classification decision in the primary category of the nominated service, as well as in the appropriate corresponding second and third category with the consultation of involved NUBO Professionals and StarAudit Auditor.
  7. Categories and the evaluation criteria of nominated services are published on the EuroCloud Awards website before the start of EuroCloud Awards 2nd Stage.
  8. StarAudit ThreeStar Awards Assessment should be run by using a unique code from Awards 1st Stage ticket. Detailed instructions are available on the Awards website, and, if necessary, the candidates could receive intensive support by using email and teleconferencing tools to successfully and completely accomplish EuroCloud Awards 1st Stage StarAudit ThreeStar Assessment before the EuroCloud Awards 1st Stage closing date.
  9. According to the published EuroCloud Awards timeline, accredited NUBO Community Professionals and the StarAudit Accredited Auditor as a supervisor verify acceptability of every single EuroCloud Awards 1st Stage StarAudit ThreeStar Assessment and report the result to the candidate. Positive result means the service could be nominated to the EuroCloud Awards 2nd Stage. In any case, candidates download their EuroCloud Awards 1st Stage StarAudit ThreeStar Assessment Report as a valuable guideline from the GAP-Analysis.
  10. EuroCloud Awards nomination process starts by the 500 Awards 2nd Stage ticket purchase on the Webshop for StarAudit Tools according to the published EuroCloud Awards timeline by entering the category and the code from Awards 2nd Stage ticket.
  11. EuroCloud Awards StarAudit ThreeStar Assessment qualifies the nominated service to be permanently published and searchable with company logo, trademarks, and other marketing details on the EuroCloud website.
  12. If insufficient details are given on application even after the organizer's individual question and reconsideration, entrants may be eliminated from the judging. However, any entry fees are non-refundable.
  13. Jurry made up of accredited NUBO Professionals and the StarAudit Accredited Auditor delivers final results according to the published EuroCloud Awards criteria and the timeline. The jurrys’ decisions are absolute and final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding decisions.
  14. Winners will be announced by the beginning of May the second Awards‘ cycle year.

  • 31 January 2019 - Deadline for the 1st Stage Application
  • 10 February 2019 – End of the Awards StarAudit Quality Assessment
  • 20 Februrary 2019 – Announcement of categories, direct message call to Nominees
  • 10 April 2019 - Deadline for the 2nd Stage Application
  • 20 April 2019 - Jury delivers results
  • 30 April 2019 – Winners will be announced
