EuroCloud Awards 2016

Over 600 cloud professionals from all over Europe have gathered on 5-6 of October in Bucharest, Romania for the EuroCloud Forum 2016 to discuss the latest cloud technology trends and developments of the legal framework overseeing cloud services in Europe. The special highlight of the Forum has been the announcement of the EuroCloud Awards 2016 winners during the Awards Gala. The EuroCloud Awards are promoting the best European practices in cloud implementation in various sectors, best methodologies used in cloud migration and the innovation spurred by cloud services all over Europe.

The winners have been announced during the prestigious Gala Dinner at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel, Bucharest. 15 cloud solution providers coming from 7 European countries, winners on national level of the EuroCloud Awards, have competed on European level to be recognized as the best of the best in five cloud service categories.

The finalists have introduced their solutions in front of the EuroCloud Forum audience and have been previously evaluated by an international jury of independent cloud experts designated by the Eurocloud chapters.

Best Cloud Service For Horizontal Markets GTS Telecom, with the solution GTS CloudSuite (Romania)
Best Cloud Service for Vertical Markets Combis, with the solution ComCloud – Cloud Delivery Platform (Croatia) and Innova Bilisim Cozumleri, with the solution LegaCloud (Turkey)
Best Cloud Services provided by Start-Ups Medius, with the solution Cloud Secure Element (Slovenia)
Best Cloud Transformation Methods European Business Reliance Center, with the solution Trusted Cloud Europe (Luxembourg)
Best Business Impact provided by Cloud Services Arcelik A.Ş, with the project Arcelik the Spare Parts Forecasting Project (Turkey)
The special jury recognition as “One to Watch” has been awarded to: HOUR, spol. s r.o. with the service eHUMAN (Slovakia)
