Dr. Christian Laux, LL.M., attorney at law, is a partner at LAUX LAWYERS AG, a legal firm specialised in all areas of information law and infrastructure projects with offices in Zurich and Basel. Dr. Laux has many years of experience in counselling clients exclusively and comprehensively on legal issues to do with information technology, data-related governance and data privacy. He supports businesses in the planning, procurement and implementation of outsourcing and IT introduction projects, and advises them concerning complex projects related to data privacy laws. 

Besides his legal expertise, Dr. Laux applies his understanding of software architectures, system architectures and data flows in order to optimally advise his clients in the context of EU GDPR implementation projects. This activity at the junction of information technology and law is his specialty and passion, and enables him to provide efficient legal counsel.

Dr. Laux completed his studies of law in Zurich, Paris and at Stanford University (CA). Prior to his current activity, he worked for major legal firms in Zurich and Mountain View/San Francisco as well as acting as in-house counsel for a large IT company.
