CIO VERBUND (Vienna)
Walter Fraissler has been CIO at VERBUND and Head of IT and Organization at its Shared Service Center VERBUND Services since 2010. He has been successful in integrating several mergers, dealing with restructuring projects during the crisis years, and transforming IT into a bimodal organization.
In addition Walter Fraissler has been one of the driving forces in constituting the Austrian Energy CERT as a service for approximately 20 Austrian electricity and gas utilities; he is serving as deputy chairman for this consortium.
